Site Features
The Clinical Research Unit in Madison, Wisconsin is a state of the art, 72-bed purpose-built clinic co-located with Covance Laboratories. The Madison team has over 30 years of experience conducting clinical pharmacology trials specializing in healthy volunteer studies, including dQT and first-in-human. Our staff, including six full-time physicians and over 80 full-time nurses and technicians, provide qualified, experienced oversight of a variety of complex Phase I studies. Close proximity to the University of Wisconsin-Madison provides access to an academic community that is renowned for its medical research and rich pool of scientific talent.

Radiolabeled Studies
Our Madison clinic is a recognized leader in the conduct of radiolabeled clinical studies. Our on-staff Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist has over 30 years of experience and our Radiation Safety Officer ensures consistent compliance with FDA, DOT, and NRC / Agreement State regulations across all Covance sites. Our on-campus GLP laboratory provides 24-hour or less turnaround on radiosample analysis. Nine out of ten clients choose our lab to analyze the samples generated by radiolabeled studies conducted at the on-campus clinic.

Pharmacometrics Services
Madison is home to Covance's Pharmacometrics Center for North America. Our team of dedicated professionals is closely involved with your Covance clinical trial from protocol design to final report.
