| The Covance Clinical Research Unit in Dallas is a brand new state of the art facility. Years of experience went into the design of this clinic and we are confident that it provides a suitable environment for excellent data collection. The 120 bed facility contains a fully equipped observation room with 25 dedicated hospital beds designed for cardiac safety studies. This room is also ideal for first in human trials or any trial that requires intense safety monitoring. With over 20 years of research experience, the Dallas site has conducted approximately 700 inpatient and outpatient Phase I-IV clinical trials of investigational medications. In addition to healthy normal populations, our medical expertise includes experience in special populations such as: healthy elderly, obese, postmenopausal women, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and hepatitis C. Our bilingual staff is able to serve the Hispanic community, part of our extensive database which contains over 30,000 active volunteers. |
