Toxicology Services
Covance provides the complete range of toxicology studies required to assess potential risks for man and animals associated with the use of agrochemical products.
Studies are conducted in currently-accepted rodent and non-rodent species and all routine routes of exposure are used, including the technically demanding route of inhalation.
Studies undertaken include:
- Acute oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity
- Primary dermal and eye irritation
- Dermal sensitization
- Genotoxicity in vitro and in vivo
- Neurotoxicity
- Subchronic oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity
- Reproductive toxicity, including multigeneration and teratogenicity studies
- Lifespan toxicity and oncogenicity
- Histopathology.
