Routine Chemistry
Covance Central Laboratory Services uses state of the art automated instrumentation to provide chemistry panels on serum samples for the monitoring of important biochemical parameters, such as electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride), calcium, total protein, albumin, creatinine, urea, enzymes (alkaline phosphatase, transaminases, creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, lipase, amylase) and a number of other metabolically important tests. Since a quick turnaround time is important for rapid enrollment as well as patient safety during a study, all testing in routine chemistry is completed the same day samples are received. |
