Covance's Biotechnology Services Division has been in operation at its Harrogate, UK, laboratory since 1990 and is constantly growing to meet the needs of our clients. Clients range from large to small companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Covance recognizes that each client and program is as unique as the products they bring to our facilities, and we strive to provide the customized service they need.
Scope of services
No matter what biomolecule or technique you are working with, our Biotechnology Services Division has the expertise to assist you in its development, characterization, testing and validation. Covance is a leader in protein analytical services, viral clearance studies, PCR screening and adventitious agent testing.
Our Biotechnology Research division provide services dedicated to specific biomolecules, including recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, blood products and gene therapy products. In addition, we regularly support clients with additional key biotechnology services ranging from protein characterization, to cell bank preparation, testing and storage, to biomanufacturing support.
