The Covance Approach
Strong scientific and regulatory knowledge combined with automation expertise, method development experts and experienced scientists who understand your need for timely and accurate communication allows Covance to offer extensive bioanalytical services from discovery through Phase IV.
The focus of bioanalysis is to provide a quantitative measure of the active drug and/or its metabolite(s). Samples may be derived from cell culture media or from other biological matrices (plasma, serum or urine etc). An appropriate bioanalytical technique is required to make these measurements. Selection of the correct technique may depend on the molecule's chemical nature, molecular weight, and structure.
Each of Covance's market-leading toxicology and clinical pharmacology (Phase I/IIa) units is complemented by a large, local bioanalytical unit, providing clients with the complete package of nonclinical requirements.
