Mr. Richard F. Cimino is responsible for Clinical Pharmacology Services, Early Clinical Development, Phase II/IV Clinical Development, as well as Covance's Molecule Development portfolio. He is a member of the company's Operating Committee and the Executive Committee and reports directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Cimino joined Covance in December 2003 and was promoted to President of Clinical Development the following year. Under Mr. Cimino’s leadership, Covance’s Clinical Development Services business has grown considerably, increasing its productivity, profitability, size, and strategic service capabilities.
Prior to joining Covance, Mr. Cimino held several senior management positions during his 20-year career at Eastman Kodak. Most notably, he served as General Manager and Corporate Vice President, Americas, Health Imaging Group, where he was instrumental in the digital transformation of Kodak’s second-largest business, now Carestream Health Inc.
Mr. Cimino also served as an independent director for BioClinca for six years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
